Biography

Based in Berlin, Alves is a Brazilian Choreographer, Performance Artist, and Curator. He has a Master's degree in Solo Dance Authorship from the University of Arts Berlin (UdK) and a Bachelor's degree in Directing Theater from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Throughout his career, which started in 2005, he has been delving into the realms of creative translation, queer affects, and collage as a choreographic method.
